Balticon Sponsorship Opportunities

We offer the following incentives to encourage Balticon sponsorship:

You can support Balticon and your own marketing goals by having your promotional literature or other promotional items placed in the Balticon registration bags (a.k.a. "swag" bags). The fee for this service is eight cents ($.08) per item per bag for a minimum of 1,800 pieces ($144.00)

If your promotional item is a discount coupon for 10% or more off of food, goods or services, we will stuff them into the registration bags at no charge.

Sponsorships:

As a Balticon Sponsor, your donation can be in the form of cash, goods (pizza for Thursday night truck crew; snacks and/or paper supplies for the Participant or Masquerade Green Rooms or Con Suite; equipment (coffee makers, chafing dishes, microwave ovens, crock pots, sewing machines or sergers for the Participant or Masquerade Green Rooms or Con Suite; high quality projectors or DVD players, audio and video recording equipment) or services, and can be untargeted (going into the general Balticon operating fund), or you can request to sponsor a specific event (Friday Face Time receptions, dinner with the Con Chair, Needleworkers Tea, Regency Tea and Gaming, the Balticon Sunday Night Short Film Festival, Con Suite Friday, Saturday, Sunday or Monday, Volunteer/Staff lunches or dinners, Art Show Monday Workshops), a function space, or guest of honor expenses like transportation and/or lodging.

We offer the following incentives to encourage Balticon sponsorship:

	"Friend of Balticon" sponsor donations are valued up to $126. "Friend of Balticon" sponsor names are included on the Balticon sponsors list in the BSFan and on the Balticon website.
	"We Balticon" sponsor donations are valued from $127 to $294. "We Balticon" sponsor names are included on the Balticon sponsors list on the web and in the BSFan and Balticon Pocket Program.

Bronze level donations are valued from $295 to $504. Bronze sponsors are offered:

•	a business card sized black and white ad in the BSFan;
•	an up to 168px X 126px web ad on the Balticon.org front page
•	name with logo included on the Balticon sponsors list on the web, in the BSFan and in the pocket program schedule.

Silver level donations are valued from $505 to $840. Silver sponsors are offered:

•	1/4 page black and white ad in the BSFan
•	an up to 210px X 168px web ad (linked to sponsor website) on the Balticon.org front page
•	placement of their promotional ("swag") items in Balticon registration bags
•	one complimentary Balticon membership in the sponsor's name
•	the opportunity to have their representative introduced at Balticon opening ceremonies on Friday night
•	sponsor name with logo included on the Balticon sponsors list on the web, in the BSFan and in the pocket program schedule.

Gold level donations are valued from $841 to $1764. Gold sponsors are offered:

•	1/2 page black and white ad in the BSFan
•	an up to 252px X 210px web ad (linked to sponsor website) on the Balticon.org front page
•	placement of their promotional ("swag") items in Balticon member registration bags
•	wo complimentary Balticon memberships in the sponsor's name
•	the opportunity to have their representative introduced at Balticon Masquerade on Saturday night
•	sponsor name with logo included on the Balticon sponsors list on the web, in the BSFan and in the pocket program schedule

Platinum level donations are valued from $1765 to $4200. Platinum sponsors are offered:

•	a full-page black and white ad in the BSFan
•	an up to 294px X 252px web ad (linked to sponsor website) on the Balticon.org front page
•	placement of their promotional ("swag") items in Balticon member registration bags
•	two complimentary Balticon memberships in the sponsor's name
•	the opportunity to have their representative speak (limited to 5 minutes) at Balticon opening ceremonies on Friday night and be introduced at Balticon Masquerade on Saturday night
•	the opportunity to have one representative join guests of honor for "Dinner with the Con Chair"
•	sponsor name with logo included on the Balticon sponsors list on the web, in the BSFan and in the pocket program schedule

Diamond level donations are valued at over $4200. Diamond sponsors are offered:

•	either a full-page black and white ad on the inside back cover or a full page color ad in the color pages of the BSFan
•	a full-page black and white ad on the inside back cover of the pocket program
•	a 336px X 294px web ad (linked to sponsor website) on the Balticon.org front page and on the BSFS website
•	placement of their flyers promotional ("swag") items in Balticon member registration bags
•	four complimentary Balticon memberships in the sponsor's name
•	the opportunity to have their representative speak (limited to 5 minutes) at Balticon opening ceremonies on Friday night and at Balticon masquerade on Saturday night
•	the opportunity to have two representatives join guests of honor for "Dinner with the Con Chair"
•	sponsor name with logo included on the Balticon sponsors list on the web, in the BSFan and in the pocket program schedule

Please provide us with either camera-ready copy or an electronic copy of your ad or logo to be included with your qualifying listing. For your ad to be placed in the BSFAN, we must receive your donation and qualifying ad copy by April 15, 2015. Please see www.bsfs.org/bsfan-ads.html for BSFAN advertising information.

We request that boxes be marked with heavy black marker—either "B49 Reg Packets," "B49 [Event or Department Name]" or "B49 Freebie Table" so that we know exactly where it goes. You can email Sponsors' Liaison to make arrangements to drop off packages or have us pick up your packages from any Baltimore area location any time before May 18, 2015, or shipments can be sent to our package shipping address to arrive by that date:

Please include a letter with monetary donations specifying how you would like us to use the funds if other than applied to the general Balticon operating fund.
